COMMONG SONG: SING FOR EQUALITY

Between February 2-7, the final mobility of the Erasmus+ project titled "Differences Make Us Colourful," coordinated by Poland, was successfully held in Pulawy, Poland.
The program, which involved a total of 28 students, included creative and technology-based workshops such as 3D printing design, rhythm exercises, animation, and short film production. The most significant output of the mobility was the joint song prepared with contributions from all partners. This song reflected the project's main theme of equality and the power of collective creation.

Day 1
Monday, 3rd February 2025
8:30 -The partners arrived at Szkola Podstawowa nr 1 im. Tadeusza Kosciuszki w Pulawach. The headteacher, the teachers and the students welcomed the teams in the school’s hall decorated with white and light blue balloons.
The welcome ceremony was held in the gym: Polish students from 6 to 14 years old danced and sang some traditional dances and songs, the Italian, Turkish and Polish flags were the background of the ceremony. Between each performance the English teacher taught us about Poland, Puławy by reading a beautiful digital presentation. Then the headteacher, teachers and local authorities welcomed the teams in a very warm way.
After the warm up activities, students and teachers attended a dance lesson and they learned 2 traditional Polish dances.
10:30 – Students attended a very interesting lego motion workshop: first they built Lego scenes for an invented story then they took photograms finally they made a video about their story with movie maker.
11:30 – The tour of the school was organised so that all the teachers could great the teams.
There was a very suggestive exhibition of all the students, posters about the topic of this mobility and the previous ones.
12:00-13:00 Lunch: the host school prepared a typical Polish lunch to improve empathy between the groups with food.
13:00-17:00 In the afternoon here were workshops for students and teachers: EQUALITY and MATHS. At the end of the activities students had to reflect about the day and start writing a daily journal.
A welcome party was organised for everybody.
Day 2
Tuesday 4th February 2025
8:30-12:00 – Partners arrived at school where teachers prepared warm-up games for everybody: musical ballons games.
The host school’s music teacher prepared a very endearing workshop on writing and composing song lyrics. Students played different instruments that together became a real orchestra in an harmonious way. They also used hands, feet and different objects to create sounds. After they were divided in teams to write equality themed song lyrics.
12:00-13:00 Lunch
13:00-17:00 All the teams visited a Museum and a park in Puławy (Czartoryskich) where they attended 2 workshops: the 1st was a challenge to discover a famous sentence written by Izabela and the 2nd was a calligraphy workshop: students learned to write with ink and a nib; they was able to produce sophisticated and eye-catching letters. Students and teachers really enjoyed this art of beautiful handwriting.
All groups admired the rooms and the ornaments in the Museum as well as the story of the Palace and its inhabitants.
At the end of the activities students had to reflect about the 2nd day and write a daily journal.
Day 3
Wednesday 5th February 2025
8:30-12:00 – Students were engaged in warm-up activities in the Gym: alphabetical order game and ballons games. They learned a traditional Polish dance and played volleyball and basketball in mixed teams.
After a short break a fantastic workshop was organised: students in pairs wrote a lyric and the music: the song had to have 3 verses that contained equality words and a chorus with the name of the project, each verse had to be of 4 lines with the rhyme abab. The music had to be 4/4. The best song was chosen by the music teacher and the rehearsals began. Some students sang, others played and instrument and 6 girls prepared a ballet.
12:00-13:00 Lunch
In the afternoon a multilingualism 3D print workshop was done: students prepared objects with tinker cad and then printed them. Teachers prepared a module on equality.
At the end of the activities students had to reflect about the day and write a daily journal.
Day 4
Thursday, 6th February 2025
8:30-12:00 – The teams did a meeting at school and students were involved in warm-up activity: Am I the one?.
An unforgettable school trip to Kazimierz Dolny was organised. During the visit, the groups explored the beautiful Kazimierz Dolny Castle, climbed the historic tower for breathtaking views, and toured the stunning St. John's Church. It was a wonderful experience that allowed everyone to learn more about Polish history and culture while enjoying the charm of this picturesque winter and cold town.
12:00-13:00 Lunch
13:00-17:00 In the afternoon the team shared wonderful moments together as they looked at the posters and photos from the previous mobilities. It was a great opportunity to reflect on the amazing experiences and memories created throughout the Erasmus project. The photos bought to many conversations and laughter, bringing everyone closer.
A photography workshops using digital tools was done for students. The cultural afternoon was organised.
At the end of the activities students had to reflect about the 4th day and write a daily journal.
Day 5
Friday 7th February 2025
8:30-12:00
The groups reached school and a warm-up game (Someone behind me game) was done before the Rehearsals. Everybody prepared the stage and finally students were on the stage to perform in a concert. The concert was absolutely wonderful! The students performed in an incredible way, showcasing their talents and hard work. Their energy and enthusiasm truly captivated the audience, making it a memorable and special event for everyone involved. It was a fantastic celebration of their dedication and creativity!
12:00-13:00 Lunch: the host school bought lunch for everybody.
13:00-17:00 -In the afternoon the Certificate Ceremony was prepared and each group took photos to remember this wonderful experience that enriched their cultural, teaching and social life.
After students and teachers did the evaluation of the mobility. Finally the post-test was done by everybody.
